To advance the quality objectives for the 2023-2024 academic year and foster expanded partnerships in education development for the "Work and Study - Distance Learning" initiative, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) convened the Conference on Training Collaborations from January 12, 2024, to January 13, 2024. The event saw the participation of affiliated Colleges and Vocational Schools.

HCMUTE was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang, Acting President, alongside representatives from the Party Committee, the School Council, the Non-Formal Education Department, and leaders from various university units.
Representatives from partnering training institutions included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Minh Cuong, Rector of Dak Lak College; M.Sc. Pham Van Dieu, Rector of Gia Lai College; M.Sc. Nguyen Ngoc Minh, Vice Rector of An Giang College; M.Sc. Nguyen Manh Hung, Vice Rector of Nha Trang College of Technology; M.Sc. Truong Van Chinh, Vice Rector of Binh Thuan College; M.Sc. Dao Van Hon, Vice Rector of Long An College; M.Sc. Phan Thi Le Thu, Vice Rector of Vien Dong College, along with representatives from various affiliated training institutions.
Addressing the gathering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang highlighted the significance of collaborative training programs. He emphasized their crucial role in addressing the shortage of skilled labor in many regions, particularly in remote provinces. The "Work and Study - Distance Learning" initiative, he noted, not only creates new opportunities but also enhances the professional capabilities of the local workforce. It facilitates accessible learning opportunities, thereby contributing to community development and the nurturing of local talent. Additionally, this program serves to extend the reach and reputation of HCMUTE, spanning across various provinces and cities nationwide.
