In an effort to expand international cooperation, on the afternoon of December 8, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST), Taiwan, at the university's Khánh Tiết Room.
Attending the signing ceremony from HCMUTE were Associate Professor Dr. Lê Hiếu Giang - the President of the University, along with representatives from the International Relations Office, the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Food. Representing National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, were Professor Chung-Hsin Wu - Vice President of the University, alongside other university leaders.
According to the MOU, HCMUTE and National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology will collaborate on recruiting scholars, researchers, and students; coordinating activities such as joint research, lectures, and specialized conferences; and participating in a dual-degree program.
Additionally, HCMUTE and National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology also signed an agreement for student exchange, providing a significant opportunity for students to study and train in a highly specialized environment, contributing to the comprehensive development of human resources in the future, meeting the labor needs of businesses and the global integration process.
