On the morning of December 15, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and received a sponsorship package worth 40,000 USD (equivalent to 10 Synopsys software licenses) from Renesas Design Vietnam Co., Ltd.

During the ceremony, Renesas Design Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored HCMUTE to purchase 10 licenses of virtual development toolkits from Synopsys and to implement training and internship programs on virtual platforms and simulation environments for students, with support from the company. This significant support aims to enhance the learning conditions and educational programs for HCMUTE students, bringing them closer to practical learning experiences in a professional environment.

Moreover, Renesas also provides opportunities for HCMUTE students to work at the company. In addition to interning in a professional environment and gaining exposure to advanced techniques, students are assigned and guided in internship projects, receive internship allowances, and are given priority in hiring after graduation. Through hands-on experience and working with experts, HCMUTE students will have opportunities to enhance their specialized skills and develop soft skills, promising exciting experiences and potential opportunities for HCMUTE students.

It is noted that although they have collaborated on some major programs in the past, this is the first time Renesas Design Vietnam Co., Ltd. has sponsored Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, opening up opportunities for continued cooperation and collaboration on future programs between both parties.
