With the aim of expanding its international cooperation network, on the morning of December 7, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) conducted the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Jeonnam University, South Korea, at Room 1 of the university.
Attending the signing ceremony from HCMUTE were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang - President of the university, along with representatives from various departments: International Relations, Business Relations, Admissions and Student Affairs; and from the faculties of Electrical - Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. From Jeonnam University, South Korea, there was Mr. Cho Myeong Rai - President of the university, along with other university leaders.
According to the MOU, HCMUTE and Jeonnam University will collaborate on scientific research, support exchange programs (for experts, lecturers, and students), and provide training and development for faculty members. Additionally, both institutions will engage in comprehensive cooperation in the field of drone education and development support.
The collaboration between HCMUTE and Jeonnam University, South Korea, is seen as an opportunity to enhance educational activities, providing practical benefits and skills for students. It aims to implement international exchange programs, contribute to the comprehensive development of human resources, meet the labor market demands of businesses, and facilitate global integration processes.
Following the signing ceremony, HCMUTE and the delegation from Jeonnam University, South Korea, participated in a cultural exchange through drone performance activities.
