To foster connections among alumni, share experiences, support each other in work, and exchange additional information, contributing to the development of the Faculty and the University, January 1, 2024, has become an important annual event for many generations of graduates from the Faculty of Automotive Engineering of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE). During this event, the University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate in the field of human resources training with Toyota Gia Lai Co., Ltd.
Participating in the meeting, on the HCMUTE side were Dr. Huynh Phuoc Son – Head of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering, the faculty members, and MSc. Pham Huu Thai – Head of the Corporate Relations Office. On the TRUONG GROUP side, Mr. Tran Van Thinh – General Director of Toyota Gia Lai Co., Ltd. was present.
According to the MOU, HCMUTE and Toyota Gia Lai Co., Ltd. will cooperate on the principles of equality and mutual benefit. Specifically, the company will support training and development of human resources and provide scholarships to students. In return, HCMUTE will supply highly skilled and qualified human resources to Toyota Gia Lai or other Toyota dealerships in the Central Highlands region at TRUONG GROUP's service stations and other Toyota dealerships belonging to TRUONG GROUP.
The cooperation between HCMUTE and Toyota Gia Lai Co., Ltd. marks the beginning of a bilateral relationship, opening up many opportunities to promote educational activities through consulting and supporting technical documents related to Toyota vehicles, serving teaching and practical work at the university, organizing specialized academic seminars, career orientation tours, and internships for students. This equips students with the necessary skills for their future careers, contributing to the comprehensive development of future human resources to meet the labor needs of businesses.
