On May 26, 2024, the Alumni Association of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education (HCMUTE) inaugurated the first "HCMUTE Alumni Tennis Tournament 2024" at Le Gia Tennis Court, Thu Duc City. The event aimed not only to promote healthy sportsmanship but also to foster connections among alumni, faculty, and business partners.
The tournament culminated in a vibrant awards ceremony at the university's central building, attended by alumni athletes, faculty members, and representatives from partner companies. Beyond a nostalgic reunion for former students, the event served as a platform for networking, learning, and enhancing athletic camaraderie across different alumni generations and business sectors.
Nearly 70 participants, including alumni, department heads, professors, and corporate partners, enthusiastically engaged in 48 matches, delivering breathtaking performances and closely contested matches. The competitive spirit among athletes from diverse professional backgrounds created an exhilarating atmosphere throughout the tournament.
The awards ceremony celebrated standout performances, recognizing the dedication of all participants and extending gratitude to tournament sponsors. The event left a lasting impression, affirming its status as an annual tradition that strengthens the university's ties with alumni and business communities, contributing to a resilient and interconnected society.
