In the spirit of honoring International Women's Day on March 8th, the Labor Union of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education organized an outdoor excursion to Suoi Mo tourist attraction  (Dong Nai province) for female staff, workers, and lecturers of the university on March 8th, 2024.

The outdoor excursion included various activities such as sightseeing, photography, swimming, rowing, and cultural exchanges, drawing enthusiastic participation from over 180 female union members. During the Gala session, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Giang, Vice Chairman of the University's Labor Union, congratulated all female union members on International Women's Day, highlighting their achievements in professional activities and movements while encouraging them to continue striving for excellence.

Continuing the rich tradition of Vietnamese women and women worldwide, female officials and lecturers of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and  Education have dedicated themselves to training and making significant contributions to the university's development. At the outdoor excursion, the Women's Affairs Committee of the Labor Union summarized and rewarded competitive movements from 2023 and launched new ones for 2024.

The excursion at Suoi Mo tourist attraction provided an opportunity for female union members to exchange professional experiences and relax after stressful work periods, creating cherished memories together. It also fostered collective activities, enhancing solidarity within the university and motivating female union members to actively participate in competitive movements and excel in their assigned tasks.

In addition to the outdoor excursion, the university's Labor Union launched the 10th "Ao Dai Week" to promote the beauty of the Vietnamese traditional dress and celebrate its significance in social life. Female staff and workers wore Ao Dai at work from March 1st to March 8th, 2024, spreading the message "I love Vietnamese Ao Dai" on social media platforms. This meaningful activity honored the traditional Ao Dai and celebrated the graceful, charming, and gentle beauty of Vietnamese women.
