The Tam Duc Smile Dental System has generously awarded 150 scholarships, totaling 300 million VND, to students at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE). The scholarship award ceremony took place on the morning of February 24, 2023, in the university's main auditorium, under the theme "Empowering Students to Overcome Difficulties – Stepping Confidently into the Future."
Representing HCMUTE at the event were Mr. Le Phan Nhat Hang, Deputy Head of the Enterprise Relations Department; Mr. Le Quang Binh, Deputy Head of Admissions and Student Affairs; Dr. Nguyen Van Hau, Deputy Head of the Construction Department; Dr. Doan Trong Chinh, from the Department of Politics and Law; along with more than 700 students from the university. On behalf of the Tam Duc Smile Dental System were Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nam, General Director, and Dr. Nguyen Le Phuong Linh. The ceremony also featured performances and appearances by several guest artists, including People's Artist Viet Anh, comedian Nhat Cuong, actor Minh Luan, musician Quoc An, singer Hoang Yen Chibi, singer Saka Truong Tuyen, singer Khanh Tran Rio, singer Chung Akio, and musician Dan Viet.
During the ceremony, Mr. Le Phan Nhat Hang expressed gratitude on behalf of the university leadership for the significant support and interest shown by the Tam Duc Smile Dental System towards HCMUTE students. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nam, General Director of Tam Duc Smile Dental System, shared, "Tam Duc Smile Dental has participated in many charitable programs, supporting those in difficult circumstances nationwide. However, this is our first time awarding scholarships to students. I hope these scholarships will provide great motivation for you to strive and realize your full potential, building a bright future and a better society."
In addition to awarding scholarships, Tam Duc Smile Dental System organized a seminar for HCMUTE students aimed at imparting dental knowledge and promoting oral health. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nam and Dr. Nguyen Le Phuong Linh provided valuable insights on understanding the dangers of tooth decay, tips for improving oral health, common misconceptions about braces, and post-brace dental care. This seminar helped students recognize the importance of daily dental care and learn about the most advanced oral health practices available today. Students also had the opportunity to engage directly with the doctors to address their questions during the seminar.
The scholarships aim to further motivate students with good academic performance and conduct to confidently continue their pursuit of knowledge and future goals.
