On February 27th, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee - Acting President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) visited and congratulated staff of Healthcare Center of the University on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2024).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang highly appreciated the role of the Healthcare Center in taking care of the health of the officials, employees, and students of the whole university over the past time. "... the role of the Healthcare Center is extremely important and the workload is very large because it has to take care of nearly 1,000 officials, employees, and nearly 30,000 students, while its number of personnel is only 5 people...", Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang shared.


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang hoped that the officials and employees performing medical work of the University would continue to promote the achievements, maintain regular activities of the division such as medical examination and treatment, and always be a shining example of striving for improvement in professionalism, professional ethics, continue to care for, preserve, and improve the health of officials, employees, and students at the University. At the same time, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang also expressed his hoped that the Healthcare center would further develop the Vietnamese Medicine Garden model.

After the meeting and congratulating the Health Station, Associate Professor. Dr. Le Hieu Giang and the delegation also visited and congratulated the doctors at Thu Duc Regional General Hospital on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day. Thu Duc Regional General Hospital and the University have had a close relationship for many years. Every year, the hospital supports the University in internship activities for students majoring in Medical Electronics Engineering. On this occasion, the school leaders also expressed their gratitude to the hospital, hoping that the hospital will continue to assist the University so that students have an effective, quality learning and practical environment, and update valuable knowledge.
