As outlined in the development roadmap for 2024–2036, the branch campus is planned with a total investment of approximately VND 341 billion. The training scale is expected to accommodate about 5,900 learners, including 2,800 full-time undergraduate students. According to the 2025 enrollment plan, the branch will offer 12 full-time undergraduate programs, with an initial intake of nearly 500 students, providing high-quality learning opportunities for students in Binh Phuoc and neighboring areas.

In addition to full-time undergraduate education, the Binh Phuoc branch is expected to offer part-time transfer programs, work-study options, and short-term courses tailored to societal needs. This will create opportunities for local and regional learners to enhance their qualifications and meet the growing demands of the labor market. Furthermore, the subject of National Defense and Security Education for full-time students is also planned to be conducted at the branch.

This aligns with the locality’s industrialization and modernization goals. Moreover, the HCMUTE Binh Phuoc branch is expected to help spread HCMUTE’s academic prestige and educational quality throughout the Southeast region, serving as a center for training, research, and technology transfer to support the region’s sustainable socio-economic development.
