In response to International Children's Day on June 1st, the Trade Union of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) organized a series of practical activities to bring joy to the children of the university’s staff and employees.
On May 26, 2025, the Women's Committee of the Trade Union coordinated the distribution of 870 gifts (valued at 200,000 VND each) to children born from 2010 to 2025, who are children of the university’s staff and employees, as a congratulatory and encouraging gesture for Children's Day.
Following this, on May 31, 2025, the Trade Union organized a recreational program and movie screening at Vincom Thu Duc cinema for 350 children from primary to lower secondary school levels. At Vincom Thu Duc cinema, the children were divided into two groups to enjoy two age-appropriate films: the animated movie Doraemon Movie 44: Nobita and the Adventure in the Painting World and the action-comedy Face Off 8: Sunshine Embrace.

Activities on International Children’s Day carry meanings of gratitude and sharing, contributing to fostering a close-knit spirit and creating a warm, humane working environment within the Technical Education community. These activities are also part of the university’s journey to realize its educational philosophy: “Humanity – Innovation – Integration,” which the university steadfastly pursues.
