This year’s test saw the enthusiastic participation of candidates from various provinces and cities nationwide. Specifically, 999 candidates registered for the Watercolor Decorative Drawing test, while 895 candidates registered for the Statue Drawing test. These two subjects are mandatory components for admission into the Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Architecture, and Interior Architecture programs at HCMUTE. These fields require creativity, aesthetic thinking, and the ability to express ideas visually.
On the morning of June 9, candidates gathered at the university to receive their exam notifications, complete necessary procedures, and attend a briefing on examination regulations and schedules. In a serious yet supportive atmosphere, HCMUTE’s staff and student volunteers assisted candidates in locating exam rooms, guiding them on campus, and answering questions, ensuring that every candidate could confidently enter the examination process.
That same afternoon, candidates took the first test, Watercolor Decorative Drawing. On the morning of June 10, they continued with the Statue Drawing test. Both tests were conducted seriously and in accordance with regulations, with close coordination between HCMUTE’s departments and the examination staff to create the best possible conditions for candidates.

According to the HCMUTE Admissions Council, the results of the aptitude tests are expected to be announced after June 17, 2025, on the university’s official portal. Candidates wishing to request a re-evaluation of their test scores may submit applications within seven days from the announcement date. The results of the re-evaluation will be announced within 15 days after the deadline for receiving applications.
To provide more flexibility for candidates, HCMUTE also recognizes the 2025 aptitude test results from Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture and Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts. This policy expands admission opportunities and allows candidates to choose testing formats that best suit their abilities and personal plans. Details on how to submit test results from these two universities will be available on HCMUTE’s admission website: https://tuyensinh.hcmute.edu.vn/ after June 30, 2025.
