On the afternoon of June 5, 2025, the Final Round of the “President Ho Chi Minh: The Embodiment of Absolute Trust” Contest 2025, themed “Reunification of the Homeland – Aspiration for Prosperity”, was held at the Main Hall, Campus A of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE).

Final Round – Group B (Students)

The contest was organized to commemorate significant national milestones: the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025); the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2025); and the 114th anniversary of his departure to find a way to save the country (June 5, 1911 – June 5, 2025). It was also part of the activities welcoming the 17th Party Congress of HCMUTE, term 2025–2030.

Beyond its commemorative purpose, the contest aimed to promote Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh’s Thought, foster patriotism and national pride, and provide a platform for staff, faculty, and students to deepen their understanding and practical application of these ideological foundations in their studies, self-development, and daily lives. Additionally, the contest contributed to enhancing the quality of education in Marxist-Leninist and Ho Chi Minh Thought subjects.

Launched on April 29, 2025, the contest featured three competition groups:

Group A: for staff and employees

Group B: for students (from cohorts 2021 to 2024)

Group C: an online competition open to all staff, employees, and students of HCMUTE.

Following the preliminary and semi-final rounds, four outstanding teams from each group advanced to the final round.

Final Round – Group A (Staff and Employees)

In the final ranking round, teams competed in three intense and intellectually engaging segments: Tracing History, Following in His Footsteps, and Heroic Epic. These segments not only tested participants’ knowledge of political theory and history but also challenged their critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The competition was lively and exciting, marked by a spirit of dedication and responsibility, reflecting the university community’s strong engagement with political and ideological education.

A Meaningful Educational Event

The “You Are the Absolute Trust” Contest 2025 was not only a meaningful political and academic event but also an opportunity to foster a culture of lifelong learning, nurture patriotism, and inspire revolutionary ideals among the entire HCMUTE community. The contest contributed to concretizing the implementation of studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style in the new era.
