HCMUTE, in collaboration with EMG Education – the exclusive partner of Pearson in Vietnam – will organize PEIC certification exams directly at the university. PEIC is developed by Pearson Edexcel, the UK’s largest examination board, and has been officially recognized by Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training as equivalent to the national 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework. As of June 2025, HCMUTE officially recognizes PEIC Level 2 as one of the English graduation requirements for its students.
