The field of Automotive Engineering had a vital role in the industrialization and modernization process of the country. The changing market trends in recent years have provided new motivation for the development of this field. The Department of Internal Combustion Engines at HCMC University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) had recognized this trend and instantly collaborated with the Automobile and Internal Combustion Engine Association of Ho Chi Minh City and universities and colleges in the Southern region that offer automotive engineering programs.
They established an organization under the association named “Automobile Engineering Club” which played a role as a platform for connecting teaching activities among universities and colleges. Simultaneously, the club enhanced the collaboration between universities, associations, and businesses in research and development strategies within the automotive industry, as well as in providing a skilled workforce to society.
The Automobile Engineering Club was leaded by Dr. Huynh Phuoc Son, Head of the Internal Combustion Engines Department at HCMC University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE)
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Phuoc, President of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Ho Chi Minh City, shared at the opening ceremony of the Automobile Engineering Club.
At the workshop, 8 presentations were discussed and shared by lecturers and experts.
