On the afternoon of October 31, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education (HCMUTE) took a significant step toward expanding and fortifying strategic ties with Hoa Sen Corporation. The university officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the corporation in the esteemed setting of meeting room 1 on campus.
Present at the signing ceremony from HCMUTE were Associate Professor Doctor Le Hieu Giang, the Vice Rector overseeing the university, Master Pham Huu Thai, Head of the Business Relations Department, Master Le Phan Nhat Hang, Deputy Head of the Business Relations Department, along with leadership representatives from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical - Electronics, Faculty of Economics, and the International Training Department. The MOU aims to foster collaboration and elevate human resource development between the educational institution and Hoa Sen Corporation.
Representatives from Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company included Mr. Vu Van Thanh, Deputy General Director of Hoa Sen Group; Mr. Nguyen Minh Phuc, Deputy General Director of Production; Mr. Truong Tan Dat, General Director of Hoa Sen Plastic Joint Stock Company; Mr. Nguyen Binh An, Director of Domestic Operations at Hoa Sen Group; Mr. Nguyen Van Truong, Director of Hoa Sen Phu My Plant; Mr. Nguyen Phu Binh, Deputy Director of Domestic Operations; Mr. Hoang Duc Thanh, Head of Recruitment Department at Hoa Sen Home; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc, Deputy Head of Training and Human Resource Development Department; Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhat, Deputy Head of Control Department at Hoa Sen Home, along with other personnel representatives of the group.
Mr. Vu Van Thanh, Deputy General Director of Hoa Sen Group, delivered remarks during the signing ceremony. This marks the inaugural collaboration between Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education and Hoa Sen Group, as they inked a memorandum of understanding to foster cooperation. The primary objective is to attract and select highly capable students to join the workforce, contributing to the training and development of the next generation of managerial staff for Hoa Sen Group.
As outlined in the memorandum, the group will actively support and facilitate opportunities for students to engage with various functional departments, factories, branches, and stores. This will enable them to gain hands-on experience and firsthand observations of production lines, products, and business operations. Conversely, the university will organize specialized training courses tailored for Hoa Sen Group's employees. Additionally, collaborative efforts will include the organization of exchange programs and recruitment events. These initiatives aim to aid the group in gathering candidate information and conducting interviews, particularly during periods of significant recruitment.
