On the morning of May 21, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) held a meeting with Rajamangala University of Technology (RMUTL) to launch the Exchange Staff Program. During the meeting, both universities reached an agreement on several important and practical matters, including the development of the program's content and requirements. They also discussed further collaboration in areas such as training, scientific research, and professional development.
The Exchange Staff Program provides an opportunity for staff from both universities to experience different working environments, enhance their professional skills, and learn from each other in management, operations, and task execution. This program aims to foster deeper cooperation between HCMUTE and RMUTL. The current reception of RMUTL staff follows HCMUTE's previous exchange, where two staff members visited RMUTL from November 19, 2023, to December 2, 2023. This ensures that the exchange process yields the best results for both institutions.
Additionally, representatives from both universities discussed potential collaborations on joint research projects, organizing international scientific seminars, and short-term training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of both faculty and students. These activities contribute to improving the quality of education and strengthening the ties between HCMUTE and RMUTL, opening up many opportunities for long-term and sustainable cooperation. This collaboration benefits not only the two universities but also HCMUTE's relationships with other prestigious international institutions.
RMUTL is one of nine universities in the Rajamangala University of Technology (RMUT) system, a large-scale network of institutions spread across Thailand. Established with the goal of providing high-quality education and training in technology and engineering, RMUTL equips students with practical skills and knowledge to meet the demands of the labor market both domestically and internationally. In recent years, many universities within the RMUT system have signed cooperation agreements with major universities in Vietnam and the region.
