On September 15, 2023, HCMUTE organized a reunion event  to celebrate the 50th anniversary since their first year at the university.

The reunion proved to be a poignant and unforgettable occasion for each alumnus of the 73rd cohort. Half a century has passed since the day these "Freshmen" took their steps into the university. Following graduation from the cherished campus of HCMUTE, alumni from various fields have reaped success in their lives, contributing significantly to society. Some have continued the noble legacy of their mentors, cultivating the next generation and becoming illustrious figures for future students. Now, all came back to the university to reconnect, express gratitude, and reminisce about the invaluable guidance received from their esteemed teachers. 

The atmosphere of the reunion was imbued with heartfelt sentiments, fostering a warm and nostalgic ambiance that allowed the faculty and students of HCMUTE, 73rd cohort, to rekindle and relive the beautiful memories of years gone by. For HCMUTE, alumni are p regarded as priceless "assets" and a source of pride for the institution throughout its illustrious history spanning over 60 years, as well as for the promising future ahead.
