Amidst the festive spirit marking the onset of a new year, on the afternoon of February 18, 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) orchestrated its annual Lunar New Year Gathering for its faculty, staff, and employees.
Among the attendees were Dr. Truong Thi Hien, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Acting Rector of the University; Mr. Nguyen Nam Thang, representing the Party Committee Executive Committee and serving as Chairman of the University's Trade Union and Head of the Organization - Administration Department. They were joined by fellow comrades from the Party Committee Executive Committee, the Chairman of the Veterans Association, the Secretary of the Youth Union, as well as unit leaders, faculty members, and administrative staff of the University.
Caring for its workforce stands as a cornerstone reflecting the University's ethos of "Humanitarianism", fostering a resilient and united workforce to serve the organization's collective objectives. The Lunar New Year program, a perennial fixture on HCMUTE's calendar, serves as an occasion to not only reflect on and appreciate the meaningful contributions that propelled HCMUTE's robust growth in the preceding year but also to foster camaraderie and exchange well-wishes for the year ahead.
Addressing the gathering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang, Acting Rector of the University, expressed jubilation at the University's achievements and extended heartfelt appreciation for the tireless efforts and contributions of its faculty, staff, and employees throughout the preceding year. He remarked, "...We must acknowledge the tremendous efforts and dedication of our teachers across various units. They are the ones who have translated our goals and strategies into tangible realities...". Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang underscored the paramount importance of unity in attaining future milestones, propelling the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education towards swift and enduring development. Additionally, he conveyed wishes for health, happiness, and prosperity to the HCMUTE community, encouraging a steadfast commitment to unity among all members of the University.
In an atmosphere brimming with enthusiasm and warmth, glasses were raised in celebration, carrying with them wishes for a year of safety and prosperity—a fervent hope for all within the HCMUTE community.
To further amplify the festive cheer, lucky red envelopes were distributed, serving not only as a cherished cultural tradition but also as a tangible manifestation of HCMUTE leadership's care and concern for its faculty, staff, and employees.
