On January 26, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) inked a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Taiwan East Asia Research, Academic, and Industry Alliance Promotion Association (TEALA). The primary objective of this collaboration is to bolster cooperation in the realms of education, recruitment, and scientific inquiry.
Representing HCMUTE at the signing ceremony were key figures including Mr. Pham Bach Duong, MSc - Head of International Relations Department, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang An Quoc - Head of the Department of Science and Technology, alongside representatives from various departments such as Electrical-Electronics, International Training, Enterprise Relations, and Training. The TEALA delegation included Mr. Cheng Zong Yi - Secretary-General, Ms. Wang Yung Han - Head of Planning Department, and Mr. Chen Song Guang - Consulting Expert.
As per the terms of the agreement, TEALA will extend support and guidance to Vietnamese students navigating the application process for educational institutions in Taiwan. Furthermore, the association will facilitate student exchanges between HCMUTE and Taiwanese educational institutions. Collaborative efforts will also be directed towards engaging with semiconductor companies in Taiwan to enhance internship opportunities for Vietnamese students and to organize events promoting cultural exchange between Vietnamese and Taiwanese students.
This partnership between HCMUTE and TEALA is poised to unlock avenues for encouraging and supporting students interested in exploring the semiconductor industry and advanced technologies in Taiwan. It marks a pivotal stride forward in raising awareness about the collaborative prospects and opportunities extended by TEALA to students, thereby paving the way for active student participation in jointly agreed initiatives and projects.
