Within the framework of the Project of Developing the Online-Merge-Offline Classroom, the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) had a meeting with the Board of Directors of the ClassIn Corporation visited, surveyed, and worked on November 1, 2022. Joining in ClassIn's working delegation, there were Mr. Junbo Song - Founder and CEO, Mr. Aori Genle - Deputy CEO, and Mr. Qian He - Chief Technology Officer.
The meeting was successful with detailed exchanges about the usefulness of technology from ClassIn for learning and teaching in the specific conditions of students and lecturers at HCMUTE in particular and in Vietnam. Embodiments for developing classroom models, practical challenges such as faculty-student interactions, class sizes, learning experiences, classroom culture, teaching coordination, etc. have been specific conversations in order to build a sustainable classroom model that fulfills the various learning needs of students while also achieving the labor market's desired quality.
On June 2, 2023, the leaders and technicians of ClassIn Vietnam went on a field trip to HCMUTE classrooms to plan the installation of model-serving equipment OMO. Then, on June 21, 2023, the working delegation of ClassIn and HCMUTE visited and surveyed two universities that affiliated with HCMUTE, Bac Lieu University (BLU) and Kien Giang University (KGU). The three universities discussed methods of credit recognition, teaching coordination, and program articulation in each stage of development.
According to the plan, ClassIn will accompany these three universities as the equipment sponsor for the OMO classroom model. The incremental formation of these classes in accordance with the road map promises to create numerous opportunities for training and research collaboration.
