On May 14, 2023, at the Grand Hall of Block A - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), two working sessions of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Student Union HCMUTE took place for the term 2023-2025. The Congress was honored to welcome and listen to the direction from Comrade Tran Thu Ha - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association in Ho Chi Minh City and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector - Acting President of HCMUTE. At the Congress, comrades Mrs. Tran Thu Ha and Mr. Le Hieu Giang gave clear and wise instructions, helping the congress to be oriented in detail in the work of the association and the student union movement.

The 11th Congress for term 2023-2025 was held with the presence of 180 delegates representing 29 branches of the Student Union of the University. The congress reviewed the activities of the term 2020-2023 and set the direction for the next term 2023-2025 with a common goal of building the healthy environment for all students. Also at the congress, 180 delegates consulted together to elect 04 comrades to hold key positions of the Student Union, 07 comrades to join the Secretariat, 25 comrades to join the Executive Committee.
