On the morning of June 26, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with 115 People's Hospital.

Attending the signing ceremony, from HCMUTE's side, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President - Acting President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Tam – Dean of Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hai - Head of the discipline of Industrial Electronics - Biomedical, MSc. Vo Duc Dung - Deputy Head of the discipline of Industrial Electronics - Biomedical, MA. Pham Huu Thai – Head of Enterprises Relation Office, MA. Le Phan Nhat Hang – Deputy Head of Enterprises Relation Office, along with lecturers of the Department of Industrial Electronics - Biomedical.


From 115 People's Hospital, there were Specialist level 2 Doctor - Tran Van Song – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Hospital, Doctor - Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh – Head of the Nursing Department, Specialist level 1 Doctor Le Anh Tuan – Head of General Planning Department, Specialist level 2 Doctor - Thuong Thanh Phuong – Head of General Cardiology Department, Bachelor - Bui Trong Nguyen – Deputy Head of the Organization and Personnel Department, along with doctors and staff of the Hospital.

115 People's Hospital is a first-class general hospital, the last line of expertise, directly under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health with 1600 hospital beds. The signing of a cooperation agreement between HCMUTE and 115 People's Hospital promised to open up many learning and practice opportunities for students of HCMUTE's Biomedical Engineering major.
 

The Hospital will enable HCMUTE students to use equipment and data from the Hospital's medical devices for studying, conducting research, and exercising graduation requirements; support the evaluation, adjustment, and operation of training programs in Biomedical Engineering. In addition, the University and the Hospital will cooperate in the research and development of medical topics and equipment to serve the Hospital and the community,ect.
