On April 22, 2023, at the Hall of Tran Chi Dao - the building of Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of the 11th National Student Chemistry Olympiad in 2023 took place. The organizers honored and awarded prizes to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in this year's Contest. Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) has 14 students participating in the contest in all 03 groups A, B and C.
The National Chemistry Olympiad for students is the academic playground for students who are interested in Chemistry and studying at Universities and Colleges across the country. Organized for the first time in 2003, up to now, the Contest has gone through 10 times with the organization of the Vietnam Chemistry Association and the alternate hosting of universities and colleges nationwide. Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 11th Contest took place from April 18-22, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City and hosted by the University of Natural Sciences, VNU-HCM.
After 04 days of competition, all 14 students of HCMUTE's Chemistry Olympiad team won prizes. As follows:

- 04 fourth prizes: Student Vo Thi Diem, Student Le Minh Quyet, Student Ma Nguyen Duong, Student Nguyen Thi Anh Tuyet.

- 04 third prizes: Student Le Hai Dang, Student Pham Dinh Gia Bao, Student Nguyen Hong Son, Student Duong Gia Huy.
Table C:
- 02 second prizes: Student Le Thanh Huy, Student Vu Quang Huy;
- 02 third prizes: Student Le Trong Phuc; Student Huynh Diem Quy;
- 01 fourth prize: Student Le Nhat Yen.
Congratulations to the instructors and members of the Chemistry Olympiad team of HCMUTE, the team's achievement in the National Chemistry Olympiad is a meaningful achievement and the pride of the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology in particular and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education in general.
