On July 3rd,2023, Quang Ngai Robot Innovation Contest for the first time in 2023, with the subject "Quang Ngai Youth - Innovation" was conducted at the IEC Quang Ngai School. Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) organized the contest in partnership with the Union of Science and Technology Associations of the Province, the Department of Education and Training, and the Provincial Youth Union. This is the first time the province of Quang Ngai has held a Robot Innovation Contest.


The contest was held over two days, on July 3rd and 4th, 2023 with the participation of 54 teams and 209 students from 15 high schools in the province. The teams in the competition were directly trained with basic information about designing and manufacturing robots, as well as technical training and programming to control robots by lecturers from the University of Technical Education of Ho Chi Minh City.


The contest is an intellectual playground designed to raise awareness and encourage young people to take the lead in proactively grasping current trends, researching new technology platforms, innovating, assisting them in practicing teamwork skills, and training the will to strive and the motivation to become a winner in future competitions. The contest met the need to learn from young high school students and contributed to the advancement of science, technology, and innovation, as well as the development of high-quality human resources in Quang Ngai province.

After the final, the first prize belonged to the Megatron team of Binh Son High School; the second prize  was Team 10A4 of Tran Quoc Tuan High School; the third prize was Team TQD2 of Tran Quang Dieu High School and Team 10A18 of Le Trung Dinh High School.

Recognizing and thanking for the companionship, interest, and active support for the contest of the University of Technology and Education of Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 02 teams; Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations awarded certificates of merit to 02 groups and individuals of HCMUTE.
