With the aim of strengthening career guidance and student recruitment efforts while creating learning opportunities for underprivileged students, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) collaborated with high schools in Binh Phuoc Province to organize a scholarship award program for 12th-grade students on the morning of May 19, 2025.

This initiative contributes to establishing and reinforcing sustainable partnerships with local high schools, while also promoting the image and brand of HCMUTE in the region. In addition to supporting student recruitment and career orientation, the activity serves as a motivation for students in their academic journey and provides development opportunities for those in difficult circumstances.

Binh Phuoc Province is a comprehensive strategic partner of HCMUTE in the fields of education, science and technology, and human resource development. The university is currently in the process of completing procedures to officially establish a campus in the province—an important step in its strategy to expand its educational network and serve the community. This scholarship program not only provides support to students but also marks another milestone in the strong, comprehensive partnership between HCMUTE and Binh Phuoc Province.

In this round of scholarship awards, HCMUTE collaborated with local high schools to select and present a total of 31 scholarships to 12th-grade students from four schools:

Hung Vuong High School: 12 scholarships

Binh Long High School for the Gifted: 8 scholarships

Phuoc Binh High School: 6 scholarships

Quang Trung High School for the Gifted: 5 scholarships

The recipients were outstanding students with excellent academic performance, from disadvantaged backgrounds, and with aspirations to study at HCMUTE.

Through this scholarship initiative, the university aims to realize its humanistic educational philosophy, which places people at the center and focuses on holistic and sustainable development. Supporting students throughout their educational journey and helping them overcome difficulties reflects a spirit of empathy and solidarity, while also nurturing dreams and building resilience. In doing so, HCMUTE strives to train competent, courageous, and community-oriented individuals who are ready to contribute to the long-term development of Binh Phuoc Province and the nation.
