Three outstanding students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) have been honored with the “Talent Development – Never Give Up – Where There is a Will, There is a Way” scholarship for the 2024–2025 academic year. The scholarship award ceremony took place on May 17, 2025, at Hall A5, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

Three HCMUTE Students Awarded the “Talent Development – Never Give Up” Scholarship for the 2024-2025 Academic Year
This year, the program awarded a total of 102 scholarships to students from 38 universities. HCMUTE proudly had three students receive the Gold Scholarship, each worth 30 million VND. These outstanding students are:
Ho Thi Quynh Chi (Faculty of Economics)
Vo Thi Dien (Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology)
Tran Ngoc Bao Thi (Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering)
Their achievements are a well-deserved recognition of their dedication to academic excellence, resilience, and their unwavering determination to overcome challenges.
Ho Thi Quynh Chi is a standout student in the Faculty of Economics with a GPA of 8.24/10 and an activity score of 97/100. She was recognized as a “Student of ” at the university level for the 2021–2022 academic year and is regarded as one of the faculty’s exemplary students. Currently, she is independently conducting a school-level research project in economics for the 2024–2025 academic year. She has also previously received the “Supporting Valedictorians” scholarship, participated in the international Summer Program at National Central University (Taiwan) in 2024, and holds English B2 and HSK4 Chinese language certificates. Additionally, she actively contributes to youth union and community activities, having served as Deputy Commander of the 2023 Spring Volunteer Campaign and was named an Outstanding Soldier of the 2022 Green Summer Campaign.

Vo Thi Dien, from the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology, boasts a GPA of 8.62/10 and a perfect activity score of 100/100. She earned Fourth Prize in the 11th National Student Chemistry Olympiad in 2023 and was a team member in a school-level research project in 2024. She has also received prestigious scholarships such as the Vallet Scholarship 2023 and the Nitori International Scholarship 2023. In addition to her academic excellence, she actively engages in community service, participating in the Green Summer Campaign 2022 and the Spring Volunteer Campaigns of 2022 and 2024.

Tran Ngoc Bao Thi, from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, stands out with an impressive GPA of 9.08/10 and a perfect activity score of 100/100. She is the co-author of the international research paper “Applications of Hydrogen Power Industry: A Review”, which was presented at the 7th International Conference on Green Technology and Sustainable Development (GTSD 2024) and published on the IEEE platform. Bao Thi has also achieved a TOEIC score of 830 and actively participates in academic competitions within the university.

About the Scholarship Program
The “Never Give Up” Talent Development Scholarship Program was established in 2023 and is sponsored by Highland Commodity Exchange Corporation (HCE Corp). Its mission is to support students with exceptional achievements in both academics and personal development. Although newly launched, the program has already made a strong impression among students thanks to its attractive scholarship levels:
Gold Scholarship: 30,000,000 VND/year
Platinum Scholarship: 50,000,000 VND/year
Diamond Scholarship: 100,000,000 VND/year
Eligibility Criteria:
Gold Scholarship:
GPA: ≥ 8.5/10 or 3.4/4
Activity score: ≥ 90/100
Platinum Scholarship:
GPA: ≥ 9.0/10 or 3.6/4
Activity score: ≥ 90/100
Must be the author of a scientific paper published in an international journal (Q1–Q4)
Diamond Scholarship:
Awarded to the most outstanding student among all applicants
