On October 20, 2018, at the Great Hall of the A Building, HCMUTE celebrated the 20th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Student Association - HCMUTE "20 years – the white dove journey".

Mr. Tran Ba ​​Cuong - Head of the Preparatory Committee for the school's staff in the period of 1997-1998, Comrade Tran Phu Binh - Former Chairman of the School for the period of 2002 - 2003 and Comrade Le Quang Binh - Former President of the School from 2011 to 2013had a talk to share experiences of leading the activities of the Association and student movements in each period.

At the ceremony, 20 outstanding individuals with substantial contribution to the work of the Association and the student movement through the years were honored to receive flowers and emblems from the program.
