From September 7-9 2018, as part of the official trip of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the senior officers of Vietnam to Russia and Hungary, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Van Dung--President and Secretary of the party committee of HCMUTE in Phung Xuan Nha’s retinue to accompany the General Secretary during his visit to Russian universities. 

Besides the General Seccretary’s trip, leading universities in Vietnam and Russia discussed and signed the cooperation agreement, which was witnessed by Vietnam’s Ministry of the MOET Phung Xuan Nha and Russia’s Vice Minister of Science and University Education Marina Borovskaya.   

Partnership with other universities is of great importance to our school, which acts as the basis to carry out Vietnam-Russia joint programs between UTE and top Russian universities.

Minister Phung Xuan Nha emphasized that Russia is very strong at high technology and economy, the experts in which Vietnam is greatly in need of.
