At the final round of the Automation Project-Based Learning 2020 taken place at the Hall of HCMC University of Technology and Education, the team of HCMUTE had excellently won the second prize.
On October 9th, 2020, at HCMC University of Technology and Education, the Final Round of Automation Competition 2020 was held with the participation of 30 student teams from universities specialized in engineering and automation. They competed in programming skills required on the Rockwell Automation Kit.
Overview of the competition
With their impressive performance, DUT-1 team of Da Nang University of Technology won the first prize with valuable awards including full scholarship for advanced online course from Rockwell Automation that was worth 500 USD, electronic voucher that was worth 500 USD along with four-month internship to support the automation engineers working at the solar battery factory of First Solar in Ho Chi Minh City.
Besides, there was an equally excellent performance of UTE-4 team of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (including 2 students Le Duy Minh Tuan & Phan Nguyen Cong Duy) that won the second prize. Meanwhile, IUH-1 team of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry also won the second prize. The third prize went to DUT-5 teams from Da Nang University of Technology, IUH-4 and IUH-3 teams from Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry.
HCMUTE student team won the Second Prize
This was an intellectual contest that required teams to have high knowledge and expertise. After the success of the contest, students were more excited and eager to learn. The contest was also a valuable opportunity for students to be trained and practice directly with industrial automation equipment.
