On the morning of May 14, 2025, at Meeting Room II, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) held a meeting and dialogue session between the University Leadership and students for Semester II of the 2024–2025 academic year. This event provided students with a direct opportunity to exchange with the Board of Rectors and leaders of functional units, thereby reflecting the university’s humanistic educational philosophy, which places students at the center.

Meeting Program
The program saw the participation of Dr. Quach Thanh Hai – Vice President of the University, along with leaders of departments, faculties, centers, and students from various Faculties/Institutes.
In his opening speech, Dr. Quach Thanh Hai emphasized that the dialogue between the University Leadership and students is not only a platform for the university to listen, but also an opportunity for students to actively express feedback and suggestions. This collective effort aims to foster a dynamic and positive learning environment. The University always considers student feedback as crucial input for reviewing, adjusting policies, and improving overall quality.

The atmosphere of the dialogue was warm and candid, with many students confidently sharing their thoughts and raising real issues related to their learning and campus life. Representatives of the University’s functional units addressed each concern directly, focusing on topics such as:
Implementation of training programs and adjustments to academic plans;
Facilities supporting learning, especially practical workshops, the library, and self-study spaces;
School security, hygiene, and health services;
Career counseling, job orientation, employment support, and student welfare services.


Student Feedback and Q&A
Representatives from relevant departments provided on-the-spot answers and noted additional suggestions for future improvements. The university also aims to enhance coordination between units to thoroughly address remaining issues.
