For Mộng Nghi, art not only brings aesthetic value but also serves as a bridge that connects viewers with the message of environmental protection and the preservation of Vietnamese culture.

"Towards the Future 2024 Exhibition – A Launchpad for Vietnamese Design on the Global Stage"

The "Towards the Future 2024" exhibition, an international event organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Design Association (VDAS), is a crucial platform for showcasing Vietnamese design to the world. With nearly 1,000 design projects from over 600 students across 18 universities nationwide, it is a prominent event in the industry, bringing together the freshest and most unique ideas from Vietnamese students. The exhibition not only honors creative talents but also affirms the position of Vietnamese design on the international map.

Passion and Determination – The Key to Unlocking Creativity

Mộng Nghi chose a challenging path in pursuing a career in graphic design, driven by her desire to convey messages about nature. From the early days of entering the industry, she nurtured a special love for nature and the environment. This became not only an inspiration but also a goal in all her works. Lecturer Mai Xuân Hưng, who guided her project, shared that Mộng Nghi's design was inspired by the reality of saline intrusion in the Mekong Delta. "Of course, this issue has many causes, but raising public awareness about environmental protection, especially mangrove forests, will help improve the quality of life here," said Mr. Hưng. From this inspiration, Nghi has cultivated her love for nature and the environment, making it a goal in every piece of work she creates.

If "Mangrove Forest Trekking" Could "Speak"

Mộng Nghi hopes the piece will tell the story of mangrove forests from an artistic perspective that is colorful and new. This artwork not only allows the audience to admire but also helps them deeply feel the ecosystem of mangrove forests, a symbol of life and the strength of nature in the Mekong Delta. Mộng Nghi shared that this space was built with the intention of evoking a sense of appreciation for nature while emphasizing the importance of conservation.

Mr. Hưng also added: "Mộng Nghi was free to express her own perspective on design and content. My role was simply to guide and analyze her solutions. The creativity in choosing the design solution is entirely hers." Therefore, the artwork serves as a gentle but profound reminder of the responsibility to protect the environment, especially for the younger generation.
