On the morning of April 17, 2018, HCMUTE coordinated with the vocational education directorate (the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs to hold the seminar of “Renovating teaching methods in vocational education in the digital age

At the seminar the management together with the experts presented and exchanged ways to reform vocational education in Industry 4.0 as well as how to implement and conduct the program.

At the event Deputy Minister Le Quan stated that the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs is going to carry out 2 major projects: establishing a nationwide integrated database management system to connect all vocational schools and develop the online training market, whereby in the earliest time possible all bureauractic procedures, quality inspection, cerification management, etc. will be done online, enable the online training market to develop and capable vocational institutions and universities to provide programs, subjects of study, online modules to learners at different schools or people in need of learning accumulative online modules. Furthermore, in this market there will be plenty of units with online education solutions for their institutions as well as for the vocational market at large. The Ministry will also promote the connection of workforce provision according to jobs and regions and the labor market via the information technology application and database of the schools.
