On the afternoon of September 4, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) hosted an orientation program for graduate students and doctoral candidates from the 2nd intake of 2023 and the 1st intake of 2024.

The event was attended by Dr. Quách Thanh Hải – Head of the Training Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Võ Thị Ngà – Deputy Head of the Training Department in charge of postgraduate training, along with leaders from various faculties and institutes, and the new graduate students and doctoral candidates.
In his speech, Dr. Quách Thanh Hải warmly congratulated the newly admitted graduate students and doctoral candidates. In the 2nd intake of 2023, 37 doctoral candidates were admitted, while the 1st intake of 2024 saw 15 doctoral candidates and 151 graduate students successfully enrolled. These figures not only reflect the trust and confidence students and researchers have in HCMUTE but also attest to the quality of the university’s training programs.

Notably, the number of doctoral candidates enrolling at HCMUTE has been increasing by approximately 20% annually, while the number of graduate students has risen by 15–20% each year in recent years. This growth highlights the dedication of the university’s faculty and staff and the institution’s commitment to creating optimal conditions for comprehensive learner development.

Following this, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Võ Thị Ngà provided an overview of the university’s postgraduate programs, emphasizing their diversity and high quality.
