On the morning of March 11, 2025, at Meeting Room I, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) and Kyungdong University Global (KDU Global), South Korea, held a working session and officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen educational collaboration.
Fostering Stronger Academic Ties
Representing HCMUTE at the signing ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh – Vice President, M.A. Pham Bach Duong – Head of Office of the International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Dinh Nhon – Dean of the Faculty of International Education, and M.A. Nguyen Thoi – Deputy Head of the International Affairs.
On behalf of Kyungdong University, the delegation included Prof. John Kyu Lee – President, Dr. Ahmed Absi – Director of the Global Academic Cooperation Center, and Ms. Julia Jung – Executive Director of the Admissions Center.

During the session, both institutions engaged in meaningful discussions on key initiatives to foster long-term cooperation in education and research. The MOU outlines commitments to:
- Facilitating student, faculty, and staff exchange programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, enhancing international learning opportunities.
- Promoting faculty and staff mobility to improve teaching quality and research collaboration.
- Conducting joint research projects, organizing academic workshops, and co-publishing scientific papers.
