From September 4 to 7, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) organized the Orientation Week for new students of the 2024 cohort. This event provided a valuable opportunity for freshmen to familiarize themselves with their new learning environment and take the first steps on their university journey.

During the orientation sessions, the students received essential information about school regulations, tuition fees, academic programs, and relevant benefits. They were also given the chance to directly ask questions to faculty members on a variety of topics, including academics, time management, teamwork skills, financial planning, housing options, and dormitory concerns. These discussions not only addressed their concerns but also helped them adapt to life away from home and learn how to protect themselves from potential risks such as scams and deceptive multi-level marketing schemes.
This year, for the first time, HCMUTE introduced free electric shuttle services to assist new students and their parents in traveling to Dormitory D1, streamlining the registration process. Additionally, the shuttle service helped students transport their belongings to Parking Area E, reducing challenges and easing navigation. This thoughtful and convenient service has been highly appreciated, offering a fresh and welcoming experience to freshmen as they embark on their educational journey at HCMUTE.

Additionally, the requirements for English language proficiency were outlined, helping students gain a clearer understanding of future academic expectations.
