After four days of serious, responsible, and effective working sessions, on the afternoon of August 29, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), in collaboration with the Center for Education Accreditation (CEA), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), organized the Closing Ceremony of the Official Survey for Quality Accreditation of 17 Undergraduate Training Programs.
The 17 programs assessed during this accreditation survey included:

3. Embedded Systems and IoT
4. Construction Engineering Systems
5. Infrastructure Management and Operation
6. Interior Architecture
7. Logistics and Supply Chain Management
8. Industrial Management
9. E-Commerce
10. International Business
11. Information Technology
12. Data Engineering
13. Restaurant and Catering Management
14. Garment Technology
15. Fashion Design
16. Graphic Design
17. Printing Engineering Technology
Participants at the Opening Session included:
• The Director of the CEA, VNU-HCM;
• Heads of the External Evaluation Teams (EETs) from several universities;
• Members of the evaluation teams.

On behalf of HCMUTE: the Vice President , together with leaders of relevant departments and faculties whose programs were accredited.
During the four-day on-site working session at HCMUTE, the evaluation teams reviewed documents and evidence, participated in discussions, conducted interviews with stakeholders, and observed as well as inspected physical facilities and quality assurance conditions. At the Closing Session, representatives of the evaluation teams presented the findings of the accreditation survey. The report focused on evaluating the programs according to key areas of the standards, including: program design and development, implementation, human resources, student support activities, infrastructure conditions, and other quality assurance elements.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice President of HCMUTE expressed sincere gratitude to the CEA, VNU-HCM, the evaluation teams, and the University’s Self-Assessment Council for their close cooperation, professionalism, and dedication throughout the process. He acknowledged the 19 recommendations provided by the evaluation teams as valuable guidance for improvement. HCMUTE committed to seriously addressing these recommendations, developing concrete action plans to continuously improve training quality, aiming for sustainable development, and better meeting the needs of learners and society.

On behalf of the CEA, VNU-HCM, the Director of the Center congratulated HCMUTE and the evaluation teams on successfully completing the official survey. She emphasized that the University had provided full support to facilitate the professional and effective work of the evaluation teams. She also congratulated HCMUTE on the high evaluation results of all 17 programs, affirming this as clear evidence of the University’s tireless efforts in quality assurance and continuous improvement. She expressed confidence that, with its strong foundations, HCMUTE will continue to build on its strengths, seriously consider the recommendations, and further enhance its educational quality.

Finally, HCMUTE, the CEA VNU-HCM, and the evaluation teams jointly signed the Official Survey Report on the Accreditation of the 17 Undergraduate Training Programs.
