In the joyful atmosphere of welcoming the new academic year 2025–2026, the Binh Phuoc Campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) organized an orientation program for freshmen of Intake 2025 in its two training programs: Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology and English Language.

Attending the program were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Quach Thanh Hai – Vice President of HCMUTE; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Au – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; MSc. Le Phuong Anh – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages; leaders of the Office of Admissions and Student Affairs, the Office of Communications, along with representatives of the Youth Union and Student Association.
In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Quach Thanh Hai emphasized: “Freshmen of Intake 2025 are important pioneers, marking the very first steps of HCMUTE’s Binh Phuoc Campus. We hope you will quickly adapt to the university environment, and promote initiative, creativity, and responsibility to embody the image of dynamic and resilient HCMUTE students.” He also reaffirmed the University’s commitment to gradually improving facilities at the Campus to best serve students’ learning and living needs, while ensuring timely support from the staff so that students can feel secure and confident in their academic journey.

The orientation program was also an opportunity for the University’s leadership to extend a warm welcome to the first cohort of students at the Campus, marking the beginning of their academic and personal development journey. During the program, freshmen were provided with detailed information on academic regulations, student affairs, learning life, extracurricular activities, student clubs, and scholarship opportunities. They were also guided on essential university learning skills, time management, access to academic resources, and student support services. These contents not only helped freshmen quickly acquire necessary information but also equipped them with a solid foundation for confident integration and holistic growth in their new learning environment.

Within the program framework, freshmen also had the chance to meet faculty members, gaining clearer insights into their curriculum and future career directions. In addition, each class elected student representatives to support class management and serve as a bridge between students, the University, and their respective faculties.
