On the morning of April 21, 2026, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE), formerly known as Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, a ceremony was held to receive equipment sponsorship valued at nearly VND 600 million from Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam Co., Ltd. The donated equipment includes engines and transmissions that will directly support teaching, learning, and research activities in the Automotive Engineering Technology program under the Faculty of Energy Engineering and Transport.
The event took place in the context of a rapidly evolving automotive industry, which demands highly trained technical personnel equipped with practical skills and modern technological knowledge. This corporate sponsorship not only contributes to improving training quality but also demonstrates the strong collaboration between the University and industry partners in developing high-quality human resources to meet the increasing demands of the labor market.
Attending the ceremony, representatives from HCM-UTE included Dr. Huynh Phuoc Son – Head of Office of Enterprise Relations ; Dr. Do Quoc Am – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering and Transport; Dr. Nguyen Van Trang – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering and Transport; Dr. Phan Nguyen Qui Tam – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering and Transport, along with lecturers and students from the Faculty.

The sponsored equipment from Mitsubishi Vietnam will provide students with greater access to practical experience, improve their professional skills, and better prepare them for integration into a professional working environment after graduation.
