On the morning of September 29, 2025, at Meeting Room I, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) welcomed and worked with the delegation from the People's Public Security Political Academy under the Ministry of Public Security. The meeting served as an opportunity for the two institutions to exchange experiences in training, human resource development, and the promotion of digital transformation in education.

The delegation from the People's Public Security Political Academy was led by Colonel Dr. Tong Van Khuong, Deputy Director of the Academy, accompanied by leaders from key departments such as the Department of Training and Professional Development, the Department of Student Management, the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Informatics, the Faculty of Military Arts, and several lecturers from the Academy.

Representing HCMUTE were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang, President of the University, along with leaders from the Office of Academic Affairs, the Office of Administration and Organization, the Office of Science and Technology, the Office of Equipment and Materials, the Office of Communications, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Politics and Law, the Institute of Technical Education, and the Center for Digital Learning.

During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang, President of HCMUTE, emphasized:

“As one of the five national key universities in the field of engineering and technology, HCMUTE is oriented toward becoming a multidisciplinary university with strong capabilities in training, scientific research, and digital transformation. The university is always ready to expand cooperation and share experiences with partner institutions to jointly develop human resources, enhance faculty capacity, and contribute to the ongoing reform of education.”

Colonel Dr. Tong Van Khuong, Deputy Director of the People's Public Security Political Academy, remarked:

“The Academy’s mission is to train and foster political theory for the People's Public Security force while also focusing on developing professional fields connected with practical work, scientific research, and building a contingent of politically steadfast and professionally competent officers. In the context of the current wave of innovation and digital transformation, the Academy highly values collaboration, learning, and adopting advanced educational models from universities to foster innovation in training and management.”

In the discussion session, HCMUTE representatives shared experiences in human resource development, particularly in building a high-quality teaching staff capable of meeting the demands of modern education. Many of the university’s lecturers have been trained in developed countries and actively participate in scientific research and international collaboration, thereby enhancing training quality and broadening learning opportunities for students.

In addition, HCMUTE has been implementing comprehensive digital transformation solutions in both management and teaching. The university’s digital learning ecosystem includes a Learning Management System (LMS), online learning platforms, electronic learning materials, and interactive assessment tools. These systems enable flexible and effective teaching and learning, meeting students’ needs to study anytime and anywhere.

Notably, many online courses developed by HCMUTE have attracted large numbers of students—not only in technical and technological fields but also in social sciences. Training programs in politics, law, education, and languages have also been digitized, reflecting the university’s multidisciplinary development strategy in the digital era.
