On August 21 2018 in Ha Noi, the Vingroup conglomerate signed the agreement of cooperation with HCMUTE and 50 other leading universities in Vietnam. 

In accordance with the agreement, Vingroup and the selected universities will collaborate in 4 aspects: sponsoring scientific and technological research projects; sharing experience among professors, researchers, and students; teaching and sharing knowledge; and the universities are to obtain 100,000 IT students within the next 10 years.
