Representives from HCMUTE and Aisin Asia (Thailand)
Speaking at the sponsorship reception ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh, Vice President of HCMUTE, affirmed that the University continuously strives to expand cooperation with leading enterprises and organizations at home and abroad to enhance training quality, scientific research, and students’ international integration capacity. The sponsorship from Aisin Asia (Thailand) creates opportunities for students to access practical technological environments, enhancing applicability and creativity throughout their learning process.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh speaking at the ceremony
Mr. Soichi Sato, President of Aisin Asia (Thailand), emphasized the importance of close links between enterprises and educational institutions, particularly in practical training where students can directly engage with technologies, processes, and technical standards applied in real production. He also expressed Aisin Asia’s desire to further expand cooperation with HCMUTE in the coming time, toward sustainable training, research, and development programs.

Once put into operation, the Gasoline Engine Practice Workshop will directly serve the teaching of practical modules on engines, engine diagnostics, and engine experiments, while also providing a space for implementing enterprise cooperation programs jointly carried out by Aisin Asia (Thailand) and HCMUTE. This enables students of Automotive Engineering Technology to access, experience, and update advanced technologies during their studies, helping to narrow the gap between training and actual labor market requirements.
The gasoline engine workshop is equipped with a variety of modern training devices, such as an automatic transmission oil circulation changer, a coolant circulation changer, an engine oil changer and engine cleaning system, and more. These devices not only effectively support teaching and research activities but also help students develop in-depth practical skills, enhance professional competence, and build confidence before officially entering the professional working environment of the automotive industry.
The reception of sponsorship from enterprises demonstrates their strong interest and close partnership in education and training. Such practical contributions not only support the University in modernizing facilities but also directly improve training quality, encouraging students to take initiative in learning and innovation.
