On the morning of October 22, 2025, at Meeting Room III, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) welcomed and held a working session with Bao Loc College of Technology and Economics to exchange experiences in training and lecturer development, as well as to discuss directions for joint training collaboration between the two institutions in the coming period.
Attending the meeting, on behalf of HCMUTE were Dr. Quach Thanh Hai, Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Head of the Office of Training Cooperation and Development; Dr. Nguyen Van Long Giang, Dean of the Faculty of Vehicle and Energy Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le My Ha, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thien Ngon, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Nga, Deputy Head of the Office of Academic Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Minh Nhut, Deputy Head of the Office of Science and Technology; and MSc. Nguyen Thi Kim Cuc, Deputy Head of the Office of Training Cooperation and Development.
From Bao Loc College of Technology and Economics, the delegation included Mr. Pham Can – Secretary of the Party Committee and President; Mr. Dao Duy Phuoc – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President; and Mr. Tran Van Huy – Head of the Office of Academic Affairs and Scientific Management.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Can, President of Bao Loc College of Technology and Economics, expressed his desire to cooperate with HCMUTE in joint training programs, professional development for lecturers, as well as collaboration in scientific research and the development of high-quality human resources.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Head of the Office of Training Cooperation and Development, shared information about HCMUTE’s distance learning programs and part-time training models.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Nga, Deputy Head of the Office of Academic Affairs, introduced the university’s postgraduate programs.

During the session, the two sides discussed key directions for cooperation, including joint university-level part-time training and distance education programs in fields of mutual strength.
In addition, HCMUTE and Bao Loc College of Technology and Economics agreed to enhance collaboration in scientific research, technology transfer, faculty and expert exchange, postgraduate training, and organizing professional development courses for lecturers. Both institutions also plan to co-host academic seminars and conferences on emerging technologies. These efforts aim to improve training quality, strengthen faculty capacity, and meet the growing demand for highly skilled human resources in the fields of technology and engineering.

With a spirit of openness, mutual learning, and shared growth, the meeting marked a promising beginning for long-term collaboration between Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education and Bao Loc College of Technology and Economics. Both sides agreed to maintain regular communication and develop a detailed cooperation plan in the near future, focusing on shared strengths such as university linkage programs, lecturer training, applied research, and technology transfer.
