To foster collaboration in education, training, and scientific research, on the morning of April 28, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) and Ninh Thuan Vocational College officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The event marked the beginning of a partnership between the two institutions, working together to develop a high-quality workforce to meet the increasing demands of society in the context of rapid technological transformation.
Representing HCMUTE at the signing ceremony were Dr. Quach Thanh Hai – Vice President of the university; Dr. Nguyen Van Long Giang – Dean of the Faculty of Vehicle and Energy Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Nguyen Luan Vu – Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le My Ha – Acting Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Quang Vang – Dean of the Faculty of Economics; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hai – Head of the Office of Training Cooperation and Development Office; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung – Deputy Head of the same office; and M.A. Nguyen Thi Kim Cuc – also Deputy Head of the Office of Training Cooperation and Development.
Representing Ninh Thuan Vocational College were M.A. Nguyen Phan Anh Quoc – President of the college; M.A. Nguyen Huynh Minh – Head of the Faculty of Automotive Technology; and M.A. Nguyen Quoc Hung – Deputy Head of the Office of Administration and Quality Assurance.

According to the MOU, HCMUTE and Ninh Thuan Vocational College will strengthen cooperation in part-time training programs, organize distance learning courses, support student recruitment counseling, and offer professional development for lecturers. The collaboration will also include joint recruitment for master’s and doctoral programs, hosting scientific and technological conferences, academic seminars, and STEM training workshops for students and lecturers in the local area.

This collaboration is seen as an opportunity to promote educational and research activities, lecturer training, and recruitment support for joint training programs in the 2025–2026 academic year. Through this partnership, learners will gain more access to advanced technologies, improve their professional knowledge, and enhance soft skills, thereby contributing to the development of a highly skilled workforce to meet labor market needs.
