From June 20 to 26, 2025, the finals of the Bosch Future Mobility Challenge (BFMC) 2025 officially took place in Romania, bringing together 24 outstanding teams selected from over 120 teams worldwide. Among them, the team from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) made a remarkable impression by securing a spot in the Top 10, becoming the highest-ranking team representing Asia in this prestigious global technology competition.

BFMC is more than just a typical student competition—it is a global tech arena where teams must fiercely compete with autonomous vehicle control solutions integrated with artificial intelligence, image processing, and embedded systems, all organized by Bosch Group. Reaching the Top 10 is not only a proud achievement for HCMUTE but also a significant milestone that enhances the status of Vietnamese engineering education on the international academic map, especially in the emerging field of autonomous vehicle technology—an essential trend of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

After over six months of preparation and competition, the HCMUTE team successfully passed rigorous qualifying rounds to earn a spot in the finals. The event gathered top teams from across the continents, including:

● Europe: Germany, Italy, Greece, Romania, Estonia, Serbia, Moldova
● Americas: Canada, Argentina
● Asia: South Korea, India, and Vietnam (represented by HCMUTE)

In the final round, teams were tasked with operating autonomous vehicle models to complete a series of challenges simulating real urban traffic scenarios. Thanks to meticulous preparation, smart programming capabilities, and sharp strategic thinking, the HCMUTE team impressed the international judging panel and proudly secured a place among the Top 10 best-performing teams globally.
