In an effort to continuously strengthen strategic cooperation between the university and businesses, on the morning of June 24, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) hosted a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with LOGISYS and E3 VINA Co., Ltd. Held in Meeting Room 1, the event marked a significant step in developing promising collaborative projects with domestic and international enterprises while enhancing environmental awareness and technical competency among students, lecturers, and researchers.

Through this MoU, the parties will proceed to formalize their cooperation through specific agreements in the next phase. The collaboration is expected to focus on activities such as: developing electric motorbike and EV charging infrastructure on the HCMUTE campus; deploying and operating environmentally friendly technology applications (App-Tech); organizing technical training programs, internships, field visits, and various hands-on cooperation initiatives between the university and the companies.

Attending the ceremony on behalf of HCMUTE were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh – Vice President; Dr. Huynh Phuoc Son – Head of the Corporate Relations Office; MA. Le Phan Nhat Hang – Deputy Head of the Enterprise Relations Office; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Thien – Deputy Head of the Automation Control Department, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; and Dr. Le Trong Nghia – Deputy Head of the Industrial Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

From LOGISYS, Mr. Lee Ho Sung – CEO and Mr. Lee Sang Chen – Vice CEO were present.
E3 VINA Co., Ltd. was represented by Mr. Paik Jong Su – CEO, Mr. Han Seunggyu – General Manager, and other company representatives.

In his speech at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh emphasized:

“The cooperation between HCMUTE and major enterprises in the fields of technology and green transportation will open up practical opportunities for students. They will not only gain access to advanced technologies but also have chances to develop hands-on skills to meet the increasing recruitment demands of both domestic and international labor markets.”

 

 

Mr. Lee Ho Sung, CEO of LOGISYS, expressed appreciation for the partnership with HCMUTE:

“LOGISYS is always eager to provide advanced technology solutions, especially in the field of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. Through this collaboration, we hope to work with HCMUTE in training high-quality engineers to meet the demands of the modern industry and contribute to green transportation.”

 

 

Speaking on behalf of E3 VINA, CEO Mr. Paik Jong Su stated:

“E3 VINA is honored to partner with HCMUTE – one of Vietnam’s leading technical universities. With our strength in developing smart electric vehicle ecosystems, we are committed to close cooperation to deliver practical programs that promote green and sustainable transportation.”

 

 

This MoU signing marks an important milestone in HCMUTE’s corporate collaboration strategy, especially in the context of the global trend toward green transformation and sustainable transport development. Leveraging its strengths in technical and technological training, HCMUTE expects this cooperation to be a solid bridge for students to access real-world experiences, enhance professional and soft skills, and gradually become high-quality human resources ready to integrate into the international labor market.
