In early May 2020, HCM University of Technology and Education completed the installation of laboratories equipped with new super-modern equipment “3D PRINTING and INDUSTRY FACTORY LAB 4.0”, which aimed at enhancing students’ learning experience and practice. It was immediately applied for high-quality training program in the school year of 2019-2020.

In particular, the PRINTING 3D laboratory and equipment have been considered as a trend and the future of the world. A technology without limits with the ability to manufacture 3D parts. The school’s additional 3D printing labs will create better conditions for students to actually adapt and operate this advanced technology, especially those who are majoring in printing and construction technology, electronics, cars, etc. 

Equally outstanding and modern, the INDUSTRY FACTORY LAB 4.0 gave students an overview of the equipment widely used in factories today. It helped students visualize the actual working environment that they might work in later, especially in automation control, mechanical engineering, ... 

This is also an explanation for the tuition difference between the two training systems in the curriculum - which has always accompanied by other services that only students in High-Quality programs can receive. “The difference of nearly 10 millions between High Quality and Common training systems is the cost of services for students to learn in a better condition with good teachers. These students are paying 3 times higher than the Common-program fee, so they can study English, physical education, national defense with no fee, practice classes with fewer students, especially the equipment for experimental practice”- Assoc.Prof. Do Van Dung - President of Ho Chi Minh University of Education and Technology answered questions about the fees of the High Quality training system.

With proactiveness and determination, the Leadership Board of the University have thoroughly installed the new laboratories for students with two most prominent ones: 3D PRINTING and INDUSTRY FACTORY LAB 4.0. This is the enthusiasm, the interest in equipping students for their future career and helping them get acquainted early with modern technology. It is also the guarantee displaying the quality of teaching and the facilities of the school in general and the High Quality training system in particular. It shows the validation that the above modern equipment and laboratories will show their benefits and functions in the teaching, practice and learning process to help students integrate better, accumulate knowledge and learn more before entering society and making a living.
