At 4:00 pm on April 17, 2020, the Student Services Center in coordination with the Dormitory Management Board gave the first gifts and necessities to 102 students who are still living at the dormitory. They cannot go home to ensure safety for yourself, your family and society because of social isolation! Many of them are in difficult circumstances, and finding part-time jobs these days is very difficult.

In the coming days, Dormitory Management Board will distribute lunch and dinner to all the students who are in the dorm until the end of the season.

The school has been calling on staff, alumni and enterprises to pay attention to support students in difficult circumstances living in the dormitory and other difficult students whose families have been affected by Covid- 19. After less than 2 days, the president of HCMUTE called for donations, and the total amount of money up to 112,000,000 VND and many other necessities. The money and the above necessities come from businesses, alumni and mostly come from the teachers and staff in the univerity.
