On February 7, 2020, at the meeting room I of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, there was a signing ceremony of cooperation between the university and the British Council to let HCMUTE become a partner to organize Ielts examination.

Participating in the signing ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Van Dung, Rector of the University, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, Director of the British Council Vietnam International Examinations Program, and representatives and leaders of both sides.
 
The signing ceremony marks the good cooperation between the British Council Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education in organizing an international IELTS exam at the school. The collaborative program contributes to the plan to support the faculty, staff and students of the school to meet international language standards, and to support students to conquer employers and long-term study plans in future. The Language Development Center of the school will be the unit that directly prepares the exam location, performs the test registration procedures
