On the morning of January 15, 2020, at the stadium of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, there was Departure Ceremony "Reunion bus - Go home with PVOIL”. The program was co-organized by the Youth Union and the Students' Union and Vietnam Oil Corporation to help students who are underprivileged and live far away from home to come back to their hometown for Tet holiday. The buses departed from Ho Chi Minh city to Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, Da Nang, Thua Thien - Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa. During the journey, students could take a rest, and they are provided food and drinks at PV gas stations in every province.

At Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, there were 19 buses carrying over 800 students of UTE and students from other universities belonging to Vietnam national university and University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City to come home and celebrate Tet holiday. Not only were disadvantaged students given free bus tickets, but they were also supported 500.000 VND per person to go back to school.
